Video Law Services is a team of committed former TV journalists and photojournalists who produce compelling presentations for Mediation and Trial.  Our team of expert storytellers knows the viewing audience is very small, but the people watching make significant decisions regarding the lives of the injured.  We are proud to represent you and your clients. Bobby Thomas – Managing Partner / Director of Photography

Bobby is an award-winning photojournalist who worked for WJXT, the most powerful CBS affiliate in the country. During his time in news, he worked along side names like Dan Rather, Steve Croft, and Susan Candiotti. Bobby has earned multiple awards for excellence, including Emmys, Tellys, Pixies, DVs, the Edward R. Murrow Award, and the most prestigious, Peabody Award, which led to his induction into the Broadcast Hall of Fame.

Bobby has been with Video Law Services since 2000, and quickly rose to the position of Vice President, overseeing all production and trial work. He spent more than 12 weeks working alongside Hale Starr, the renowned trial and jury consultant and as a trial tech has applied that valuable experience to help ensure cases make a lasting visual impact on juries. His integrity and professionalism have earned him a reputation as a sought-after expert. Trial lawyers appreciate his ability to capture the big picture.

He has presented at various trial lawyer events in Nashville, Las Vegas, Washington, DC, as well as AFTL and FJA events across Florida. In 2025, Bobby became the Managing Partner & Director of Photography of VLS, where he manages daily operations and leads the team to establish the visual direction of each case. His signature stamp of approval can be seen on every Settlement Documentary and Day in the Life produced by Video Law Services.

He is proud of his country roots, having grown up from “boots to suits,” and often draws from his life experience to connect with injured clients. He believes his job is the best in the world and nothing compares to making a positive impact on someone’s life.

When he’s not working, Bobby can often be found in his garden and spending time with his wife Christina and their pointer, Rex.
